On the agenda

In this engaging and interactive workshop, students will learn how to unlock creativity and innovation even in challenging times, such as during budget cuts or organizational transformation. Through a dynamic mix of discussion, a real-life case simulation, and teamwork, participants will explore how to stand out in their careers by developing an innovation mindset. They will work on a practical case study built around a challenging scenario, where they’ll practice problem-solving, shaping innovative ideas, and pitching their solutions convincingly.

Core Focus Areas:

  1. Spotting Problems & Opportunities in Crisis

    • Learning to see challenges as openings for innovation
    • Identifying unmet needs and hidden opportunities when resources are scarce
  2. Shaping & Selecting the Right Ideas

    • Approaching innovation with creativity and practicality
    • Deciding which ideas are worth pursuing and how to design them for impact
  3. Pitching Innovation with Impact

    • Building the confidence and clarity to sell ideas to managers and stakeholders
    • Communicating value effectively, even when facing “no budget” objections

By the end of the session, students will walk away with tools, practical experience, and the energy to drive innovation in their future workplaces, no matter the circumstances.
